We welcome you to enjoy S\u00e4len from our cozy Bed & Breakfast.<\/h2>\n

Horrmundsg\u00e5rden is located in the forest outside S\u00e4len in a tranquil and peaceful forest area. For us, every guest is like a member of our family and we do our utmost to ensure that you enjoy your stay with us.<\/p>\n

Here you can enjoy the peaceful forest, go for a hike, swim in the lake or borrow a canoe from us. In winter we make are cross-country ski tracks that start outside the house. Sweden’s largest ski resort is also nearby.<\/p>\n

Horrmundsg\u00e5rden was built as a general store in 1920. At that time, the national road ran outside the house and on the other side of the house was the V\u00e4sterdalarna railroad. The old train station in Horrmund can be found in the immediate proximity. When the track was closed down in the 70s, the store was transformed into a guest accommodation.<\/p>\n

We who run Horrmundsg\u00e5rden in S\u00e4len today are a couple from Iceland named Iris and Kristbj\u00f6rn. In 2017 we decided to make\u00a0 a U-turn in our lives and pursuit new adventures. We were lucky enough to discover this fantastic area in S\u00e4len and it immediately felt like we had landed in the right place. The real silver lining in our lives is being able to spend time with all our guests, it is truly a privilege.<\/p>\n
